The young chimpanzees are going to learn the behavior of using tools
from the older chimpanzees. So the second word is going to have to
express copying older chimps: mimicking and imitating express that the
best. Vocal doesn’t have anything to do with the sentence, but adept
(or skilled) makes sense (D).
