Ross Blankenship Founder & CEO Cornell, Wash U Law
Ross grew up in Texarkana, TX and graduated from the NMH School, Cornell University and Washington University School of Law. Ross has a tremendous amount of experience in higher education, including founding a company called Top Test Prep, which has since become a major force in the test prep industry. Ross was an NCAA rower at Cornell University, and also served on the Academic Integrity Hearing Board and the Educational Policy Committee. Ross is passionate about making students’ lives better, simpler and easier to manage.
Michael Blankenship Legal counsel Univ. of Rochester, Syracuse, Rutgers Law
Michael has assumed an advisory role for StudyHall, helping make sure that all things are legit. Michael has been responsible for the formation of and/or representation of LarrainVial Securities US LLC, Citco Securities LLC, and PINE Securities USA LLC. Among his experience is assisting ICE Clear Europe Limited in and ICE U.S. Trust LLC in their exemption from certain provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 in connection with the operation of central counterparties for clearing credit default swaps. He’s also Ross’s brother and quite a decent intramural basketball player (or so he says).

Andy graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Kettering University in September, 2012. He works for both StudyHall.com and NASA's Kennedy Space Center doing what he loves, building web applications. In his free time, he loves programming and computer gaming.

Irina is a sophomore at Georgetown University, studying International Economics with a concentration in Finance and Commerce. She spent her early childhood in Bulgaria, but moved with her family to Stamford, CT when she was ten years old. She loves the outdoors and in her spare time enjoys hiking and kayaking.
Duncan Gillespie Developer Georgetown
Duncan is a senior at Georgetown University where he is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Physics. Originally from the Boston area, Duncan has been building web applications since high school and has more recently focused on iOS development. He is a member of Georgetown's club soccer team, is a loyal Patriots fans, and enjoys screenprinting in his free time.

Kaitlin grew up in Tucson, Arizona and graduated from American University after majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Art History and International Relations. Though spending the last four years learning about patriarchy has made her fairly cynical, she still enjoys hiking, reading, and going to all of the DC summer festivals.

Karen Edwards Advisor Carleton, UVA-Darden MBA
Karen is a seasoned financial services executive with broad experience over 25 years that has included investment banking, venture capital, and business valuation experience. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of a real estate investment trust (NYSE: ABR) and consults with public and private companies and non-profits.
Karen also maintains close connections with both high schools and colleges, including UVA Darden School at the University of Virginia, where she was appointed President of the Alumni Board in 2011.
Steve Loflin Advisor University of South Carolina
Steve Loflin is the founder and CEO of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and HonorSource. Originally from South Carolina, Steve attended the University of South Carolina, receiving a B.S. in Business Administration Marketing and attended Florida State University where he received an M.S. in Higher Education Administration with an emphasis on College Student Development. In 1994, Steve founded NSCS to recognize students who had done well academically during their first years in college and to provide members with an opportunity to take a leadership role in an organization devoted to scholarship, integrity and service. NSCS expects to have 1 million lifetime members by the end of 2012. Steve serves or has served on numerous Boards including the Association of College Honor Societies where he served as President from 2007-2009.
Rohit Gupta Advisor Cornell
Rohit Gupta grew up in New York, NY and graduated from Cornell University with an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree where he met Ross. Rohit currently works at High Line Venture Partners, a venture fund focused on early stage investments. Previously, Rohit worked at RBS advising hedge funds and other asset managers on cross asset trading opportunities. Prior to that he advised large corporates on various capital market issues. He is a CFA charterholder.
